Sunshine Sundays

Sundays full of sunshine are the best kind of days.  Where people happily roam the beaches, and girlfriends sit giggling in quaint café's devouring late breakfasts and drinking one too many coffees.. Where the sunshine provides different perspectives on sculptures by the sea.. Sundays when people snap away creating memories in a flash.. Memories of sandcastles and waves, families and friends.  Times spent together.

I woke early this sunny Sunday morning, to bake some tasty treats for Miss A and I to take along for our glorious morning stroll. We settled in to some Raspberry and Lemon muffins, whilst digging our toes into the warm sand, the sun beating down on our blackened bronzed shoulders, waves crashing before us. When I realised just how hard it is to photograph food.  My hat goes off to those artists who can so beautifully capture the art of food.  So it is safe to conclude - no pictures of our scrumptious raspberry and lemon muffins will ever see the light of day.  Unlike these 'gentleman', whose jolly faces can't really be seen, but I felt like they represented three of the stages of laughter.  Tickling, being tickled and tickled pink!

Oh how they made us smile!

Xx
